Phyllis and Doug stayed at the WeatherPine Inn as guests and liked it so much they bought the place. Be sure to ask them the full story.....

.... This Cape Cod board-and-baton house, with its double tiers of wraparound verandahs, is a traffic-stopping feast for the eyes. In summer, hanging baskets creak, groan and grumble under the weight of blossoming wave petunias, geraniums and a multitude of other plants, different every year. The display is equally splendid in winter when the house is hung with garlands, swags of cedar and Christmas lights. There’s an informal, country-house feel, breakfasts spilling into brunches. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a tranquil and cultured lakeside town awash with theatres, wineries, shops and fine food. But stay with the Johnsons, a really nice couple whose guests are made to feel properly welcome, to add good company and hearty breakfasts to the mix. Most guests will make those important decisions about where to eat tonight and what to do tomorrow over an evening’s glass of wine with Phyllis and Doug on one of the verandahs. Not just a room and a meal. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a busy place, book well in advance.
